Origin Speech - How It Works

Origin Speech is designed in consultation with Australian medical specialists and built specifically for Australian practice management software. Having processed more than 5 million dictations, Origin Speech utilises this learning and Australian speech data resulting in greater recognition and accuracy.

This state of the art voice recognition solution allows medical practitioners the ability to dictate using any internet browser*, smart phone or tablet (Apple and Android) from any location with an internet connection. There is no need to access the practice management software as the patient names and appointments are passed to Origin Speech once logged in, meaning no remote connection software or access back to the practice is required – it truly does offer the ability to dictate from any PC, MAC, Apple or Android powered device.

Once the letter is complete it will seamlessly deliver back to the patient record meaning no cutting and pasting or delays in returning correspondence or reports to referring doctors.

Medical practitioners can opt to self-correct using the existing templates and auto-text commands or send to a correctionist either internal or external for review, they only need a web browser too.

High level security, coupled with nothing to install**, means dictation can occur almost immediately.
